The
Founder of Cancer Options
After many years as an oncology nurse Patricia saw the
need for people to have access to good quality information
about all approaches to treatment so they could take
charge of their cancer decisions.
Passionate about encouraging the safe integration of
complementary treatments with orthodox, she has developed
Cancer Options into a renowned service at the forefront
of cancer treatment developments.
Patricia
is a renowned public speaker on the subject of integrative
medicine and empowering people to make their own decisions.
She
has a regular column in ICON magazine (Integrative Cancer
and Oncology News)
She is co-author of The Frontier Guide to Medicine with
Professor Karol Sikora

Dr.
Christopher Etheridge
PhD BSc(Hons) Chem, BSc (Hons) Herb Med, MCPP, MRSC
CChem, DolC, ARCS
Director
of Research
Dr.
Christopher Etheridge trained at Imperial College London,
and later at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular
Genetics at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington and Department
of Chemistry, Imperial College, where he holds three
patents in Gene Therapy.
Christopher now holds a degree in the practice of Herbal
Medicine (Phytotherapy).
Dr. Etheridge directs our research from his background
as a medical researcher and junior lecturer at Imperial
College, and from his knowledge of Complementary and
Alternative Medicine.
He also now has his own thriving herbal practice, and
is fast gaining a reputation of one of the most knowledgeable
practitioners in his field.
Chris
and Patricia are busy moving integrative therapy forward
in both the orthodox and complementary worlds.
Their
current projects include
Development
of new complementary treatments based on natural compounds
with the AOR Company.
These
include programmes to tackle weight loss in cancer,
treatments for superficial cancers and supportive
treatments for advanced cancers.
Working
with the orthodox world in the field of gene analysis
and testing of cancer tissues for chemotherapy compatibility.
This
is opening up a completely new understanding of how
best to use chemotherapy to defeat cancer.
Christopher
and Patricia are frequent guest lecturers on the subject
of integrating different approaches to cancer, both
nationally and internationally.
They
are also expert medical advisors to five charitable
organisations, providing expert advice and guidance
in the development of their services.

Elizabeth
Butler
BSc (Hons.) Dip ION BANT
Nutritionist Specialist in Cancer Nutrition
Elizabeth Butler is a nutritionist specialising in the
support of those with cancer. Elizabeth is Senior Nutritionist
at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre, her role being to
provide leadership and direction in the development
of the nutritional component of the Bristol Approach.
In addition, she works as a private nutritionist as
well as writing and lecturing on the subject of nutrition
and cancer.Elizabeth
graduated from university with a degree in Biochemistry
and then spent 3 years training to become a nutritional
therapist.
She holds a Masters degree in Nutritional Medicine and
as part of this qualification; she is carried out research
into the effect of diet on recovery from cancer.
Elizabeth has worked with several UK doctors leading
the way in the field of alternative and complementary
cancer treatment.
Elizabeth is available for those requiring more in-depth
nutritional support and is regarded by Patricia and
Chris as being the best nutritionist in the field of
cancer.

Ginny Fraser
Emotional Support Service
Ginny has worked as a personal development coach and
facilitator for over fifteen years, focusing on subjects
like self-esteem, overcoming fears and clarifying life
purpose.
Her own experience with cancer (melanoma) culminated
in 2001 with a Stage IV diagnosis and metastases in
the brain, lung, spleen and stomach. She recovered due
to a combination of many approaches, including surgery,
radiotherapy, intense supplementation, homeopathy, The
Gerson Therapy and much more. .
She provides one-to-one telephone coaching and support
on the emotional issues facing anyone with a cancer
diagnosis, and is committed to all patients being in
the driving seat of their cancer treatment and finding
ways of using the experience as positively as possible.
